Christina Aguilera may be headed back to TV with The Voice starting soon (Feb. 23), but the new mom will reignite her acting career too with an arc on ABC’s Nashville according to People. Christina will star as Jade St. John, a longtime pop star with country music ambitions, but her label refuses to let her expand (Taylor Swift in reverse?).
Side note: Aguilera has no plans to marry her boyfriend, Matt Rutler, the father of their 6-month-old daughter Summer Rain.
