CoverGirl

Thia is huge, Covergirl is officially Cruelty Free. The beauty giant does not test on animals and will now be Leaping Bunny certified by Cruelty Free International, for all of their products. This is a huge step  for the brand, who hopes to get all other makeup brands to follow suit.

At COVERGIRL, we believe that you shouldn’t have to choose between the beauty products you love and the values you believe in. As the biggest makeup brand* to achieve Leaping Bunny certification in partnership with Cruelty Free International, we’re committed to getting affordable, ethical makeup into the hands of anyone who wants it.

Covergirl Wants Your Participation Too

Covergirl wants to eliminate animal testing for good. By purchasing makeup with a Cruelty Free sticker on that label you are doing your part by eliminating animal testing. But don’t stop there, reach out to other brands to encourage them to follow suit and go cruelty free so they can join the movement and land their own Leaping Bunny certification. You can join Covergirl and celebrate their certification and support Cruelty Free beauty by sharing the hashtag #COVERGIRLCRUELTYFREE and #COVERGIRLMADE!

How did Covergirl get certified?

The Leaping Bunny certification from Cruelty Free International is an internationally-recognized certification for cosmetics, personal care and household product brands which are not tested on animals. COVERGIRL products have not been tested on animals, either by us or our suppliers—it’s the toughest standard in the world. To get certified, we underwent a rigorous independent audit of our global supply chain from start to finish, ensuring that ALL of our products are free from animal testing.

Will Covergirl’s new label push you to buy their products?
