Glee star Cory Monteith has decided to enter rehab for a substance abuse problems his rep tells People. Monteith has “has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.” Monteith has previously discussed having a problem in his youth and admitted going to rehab when he was 19.
Lea Michele, Monteith’s girlfriend told People she supports his decision.”I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”
