Katherine Webb, who is up to 230,000 Twitter followers today, appeared on The Today Show this morning to discuss her explosion of fame. After being ogled by ESPN commenter Brent Musburger, Webb says she was ‘flattered’ by his comments and did not think ESPN should apologize. “I think the media has been really unfair to Brent Musburger. I think that if he would’ve said something along the line of we were ‘hot’ or ‘sexy’ or made any derogatory statements like that, that would’ve been a little bit different. But the fact that he said we were beautiful and gorgeous, I don’t see why any woman wouldn’t be flattered by that…I don’t take any offense to it at all. I don’t think ESPN’s apology was needed, honestly. Of course, I appreciate it, but at the same time I don’t think that I needed an apology.”

Webb, former Miss Alabama dates AJ McCarron, quarterback for the University of Alabama.
