Paul Walker’s mother Cheryl Walker is looking to gain guardianship of her granddaughter Meadow Walker following the death of her son and its all because meadow’s mother, Rebecca Soteros allegedly has a drinking problem. In new court papers obtained by ET, Rebecca and Meadow live with Cheryl, but Rebecca has had a few bouts with the law, including two DUIs, one last year. In Walker’s will his only daughter Meadow is named the beneficiary of his $25 million estate but named his mother Cheryl as guardian of the money.

According to TMZ, Paul asked his mother Cheryl to take care of his daughter because he was so busy with work. Allegedly on November 30, Paul asked his mother to quit her nursing job and take care of Meadow full-time. Cheryl had taking care of Meadow months prior but was still working. Paul had hired nannies, but none worked out. Meadow had lived with her mother until 2011 when she moves to California to be closer to her father.

Obviously the Walker family is a little scared that Rebecca could blow Meadow’s money, which is a serious concern but it all seems to be about the money right now. i wonder what the mother has to say?
