Richard Simmons is doing better after he was hospitalized for exhibiting strange behavior. Over the weekend the fitness giant was taken to Cedars-Sinai for observation after his housekeeper say he had become incoherent. There was some worry by paramedics that he may have had a stroke, was suffering from dementia or suffering from something else and was taken to the hospital.
He was release on Saturday and has since addressed the issue. He claims he suffered from dehydration. He tells ET, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and concern after hearing I was in the hospital. I was dehydrated and needed some fluids and now I am feeling great! Summer is here – drink plenty of liquids. Big hugs and kisses for caring.”
This is not the first time that people were worried about Simmons. A few months ago concerned friends worried that he was kidnapped and was not responding to calls. He came out and said he was fine and he needed time out of the spotlight.
