Sofia Vergara and Nick Loeb’s meeting at the Loews Regency Hotel didn’t have a happy ending. The ex-lovers, who broke up the weekend before the Met Ball this month, had a conversation Tuesday night in a bid to smooth things out. But sources say it didn’t end well. After a witness told us the Colombian “Modern Family” actress and Loeb had a “heated discussion with lots of hand flailing,” sources say they parted ways without a reconciliation. Nearly three weeks since the breakup, friends of the two say the chances of them getting back together are looking slim. Vergara certainly looked happy to be single while on vacation with friends last week in Anguilla, where she posted several blissful photos on WhoSay.com.
