As a child I was always self conscious of two things…my round face and my hairline. Because I was born with freckles on my cheeks and a round face, I was often compared to a Cabbage Patch Doll. It seems cute now but when you are a shy kid everything bothers you (and kids are mean).But what I was really bothered by was my hairline. I have a widow’s peak. That’s where the hairline comes down and comes back up like a “V”. My BF refers to my hairline as an Eddie – aka Eddie Munster from The Munsters. Yea I know he’s mean…lol!!! But all I wanted was a hairline that was straight across. You always want what you can’t have. I knew a girl who used to shave her widow’s peak (which was much smaller than mine but she hated it …LOL!!) I have gotten used to my hairline and I have grown to love it. Now I think my face has a little heart shape because of my widow’s peak.
