Angus T. Jones made big negative statements against his show, Two and a Half Men, calling it ‘filth,’ but he will honor his commitment to the show and will finish out the season (imagine the tension on set when he returns in January).” Angus expects to report to work after the holiday break in January,” says a source close to the star to People. “He intends to honor his contract through the end of the season. Angus is feeling positive and he is concentrating on spending some downtime with family and friends.”
Jones has since apologized, but he may not return next season if the show makes it to another year. On the show Jones’ character Jake enlisted in the army and has been absent from some of the episodes. “He won’t be in every episode,” our source told E!News. “How much they use him will be up to [creator] Chuck Lorre. The intention wasn’t ever for him to be in every ep this year anyway. Now it might be less.” It is leaning toward ‘Jake’ going to college, making his character essential disposable and that seems to be what Jones wants after saying on video that he no longer wants to be on the TV show. As for all the attention the ‘video’ go, Jones is said to be shocked it got all this attention. “He really didn’t think anyone would care that much. He has never been the one to get attention.”
